AEHESIS Annual Conference - Rio Maior 2007

The fourth year of the AEHESIS project - focussed on dissemination - was completed at the end of September 2007. Therefore, the results of the project were presented at the 4th Annual AEHESIS Conference in Rio Maior/Portugal on 20-23 September 2007. Local organizer was the Escola Superior de Desporto de Rio Maior.

The annual conference was held within the 9th ENSSEE Forum themed "Educational policies for sport in Europe - Future directions for cooperation".

All partners of the AEHESIS project as well as all other interested persons were invited to attend this conference – not only to discuss the results of the project but also to meet together and to get into contact for further activities.

Announcement

Conference Venue

  • Conference venue was the Escola Superior de Desporto in Rio Maior. Rio Maior is situated midway between Santarém and Óbidos, in a landscape of pine and eucalyptus forests. It is an agricultural centre of very remote origin, well known for numerous prehistoric artefacts in the surrounding areas. Further information is announced here.
